Multi Serve Inc. was founded in 1997 by Jon S. Palmer, with Dan Cooper joining as a partner in 2001. During the first 6 years of business, Multi Serve saw a steady increase in new customers, repeat customers, and referrals. Eventually this translated to providing quality service to over 700 homes per year in the Grand Rapids area.

 

With the trust of our customers, we have gradually offered additional home improvement services in order to better serve our clients. These services, such as carpentry, flooring, and basement finishing, long ago exceeded our painting volume. Using a solid core of employees has allowed us to offer excellent prices along with quality service and communication.

 

Unexpectedly, we have seen our experience and volume grow along with foreclosures.  Our services were sought out by regional and national banks a few years ago, and we had no idea what that would grow into. Multi Serve now works with dozens of banks and specialists in the foreclosure field over a 20 county area. Initially the balance between residential quality work and foreclosure work did not seem like a good match, but it has forced us to remain flexible and to improve our efficiency, keeping costs low for our customers.

 

In 2010, Multi Serve will continue to grow its services in the field of insurance repair. Our depth of experience in the types of services needed in vacant homes, together with our long history of attention to quality and communication with homeowners is a solid fit for insurance repairs. We do not wish to hear that property damage has befallen a client of ours, but we do look forward to being the company that helps put it back together!
